In light of the current uncertainty relating to the Corona Virus
we are issuing this update for our customers and suppliers.

As Postal Workers we have been designated Key Workers by HM Government
which means we are legitimately traveling to our offices and are continuing to provide
our full range of mail and telephone answering services uninterrupted.

Collecting your mail in person?
We have introduced a stringent hygiene system for visitors to our offices. Please ring the doorbell and wait for us to attend to you. Please note for hygiene reasons we will not be accepting cash payments during this period and will issue an IOU for all amounts under £5.00. For amounts over £5.00 we will require a contactless payment.

If you need your mail but would rather not travel, we are offering to forward your mail to you or scan and email it to you. If this is of interest call us during our revised working hours or email us with your instructions.

Clearly we will only be able to stay open if there is not be a complete-lock down of London, and The Royal Mail continue to operate reasonably normally. You may rest assured that if there’s mail to be processed and we’re allowed to travel, we’ll be here to do it.

Have you received a Service Renewal Invoice from us?
If you have received your service renewal invoice from us it is important that you pay this promptly. During this difficult time, as an essential industry, we are continuing to provide a full service to all our customers but with a skeleton staff roster. Continuity of your postal service is always important but especially when we are on the eve of a new tax year and there are the first signs of the country turning the corner on the virus crisis. So please help us to help you by allowing us to have our full focus on processing your mail by paying your Service Renewal Invoice promptly.

In order to minimise the overall exposure time of our staff and others whilst travelling we will be operating a skeleton staff for the foreseeable future, as well as reducing our opening times to 9.00am to 3.00pm. Monday to Friday. Should you wish to telephone during these times or email us at any time we’d be delighted to hear from you and will respond to emails as quickly as possible.

To put this current situation into a clearer perspective please remember that we’ve been in business since 1924 and have remained in operation throughout the blitz, smog, strikes, 3 day week, floods and all the rest, so you know can rely on British Monomarks to be staying calm and carrying on throughout anything the Corona virus crisis throws at us.

We will accept signed for items for you including Special and Recorded Delivery letters and parcels as well as deliveries from any courier service.

Our offices are convenient for Piccadilly Line tubes Holborn and Russell Square. Bus routes that stop near us on Southampton Row are 59, 68, X68 and 188 or, if you’re in a hurry, why not jump into a taxi?

Our History.

We’ve been working from our offices in Monomark House since the early 1970’s. Our original offices were in High Holborn way back in 1925.
